HIGHLY SKILLED CRAFTSMEN
Qualified in various welding processes
Vickers Metal Works’ craftsmen are highly trained and skilled at all levels of the production process. They are extremely instrumental in making and maintaining our company’s reputation of quality.
Each of our highly skilled craftsmen is trained by going through four years of apprenticeship school where they learn the skills required to become a sheet metal journeyman. Our employees know that education does not stop with becoming a journeyman … from learning the computer software required to operate our CNC machinery or CAD programs, to becoming certified in various welding processes, employees are continuously developing and honing their skills.
Our History
Becoming Orlando’s Best Full-Service Metal ShopMy father Tom and I started our business in 1984, after working together since 1975. Sue, who majored in Accounting, came on board to run our office. Building on the reputation that my father had established as being the top sheet metal mechanic in the area since 1946, our vision was to offer the finest quality sheet metal products and service in the Central Florida area. Our employees have taken on the same goals and continue to set the high standards that our customers expect and deserve.
